Eric Sutphin was very dedicated to his family, his community and his work at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, so dedicated that he gave his life while trying to keep his community safe.
This is why we have a dedicated group of volunteers that come together every year to honor his memory and raise money to help others in the community. The scholarship fund is helping the children of police officers pay their college tuition and achieve a brighter future.
Every year the support we receive from the community is overwhelming. We continue to receive donations from area businesses that include goods, services, discounts and monetary contributions to help us cover expenses. The riders that participate in our Poker Run generously give to the fund by paying the ride fee, buying t-shirts, bidding on silent auction items, and buying raffle tickets. Thank you to everyone in the community that comes out to support the scholarship fund during our funding raising events.
